Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Strata Project Coordinator to join our team. Position will include a vehicle allowance.

Job Duties:

  • Under direction of the Project Manager assist in supervising large loss strata job sites including coordination of staff, sub-contractors, engineers, inspectors, etc.
  • Supervise and coordinate employees and subcontractors, and maintain cleanliness, organization, and quality control on the job site
  • Coordinate access with building managers and unit occupants
  • Develop detailed materials list as per the scope of work and PM’s estimates
  • Coordinate materials for delivery or pick up as required
  • Assist with the development of project schedules and task timelines
  • Assist PM with selection of subcontractors
  • Update and maintain communications with PM, PMA, and Scheduling
  • Obtain signed change orders for all work not on original estimate
  • Assist with showing sample options to insureds and obtaining selections
  • Complete minor deficiencies to acceptable quality standards
  • Assist with and arrange site clean-up and debris removal as required
  • Ensure all relevant safety standards are followed according to WorkSafe BC requirements


  • Supervisory experience in a construction/restoration is required
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in construction
  • Professional, organized and safety conscious abilities
  • Valid BC driver’s license with a satisfactory driver abstract.
  • Clean criminal record as it relates to work
  • Experience working in the insurance restoration industry – (Preferred)

Abatement Technicians & General Demolition Labourers

We currently have an immediate opening for abatement technicians and general demolition laborers. We are an established abatement contractor based out of Port Coquitlam and work everywhere in the Greater Vancouver area to Abbotsford. We provide emergency abatement, demolition, restoration, and reconstruction services to the insurance industry and to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. We offer a wide range of services that remediate conditions caused by fires, floods, wind, mould, and environmental hazards. As an abatement / demolition worker you will be working with a team and support emergency response, remediation, and restoration projects to ensure the goals and needs of the general contractor and our customers are being met. The Abatement Technician is capable of implementing procedures consistent with BC Asbestos standards and other applicable industry standards / guidelines under the direction of a Lead Hand.

Responsibilities and Duties

– Operate company vehicles to mobilize supplies and remove waste.

– Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures as set out by the crew leader.

– Comply with company quality and service levels.

-Complete and submit any and all applicable paperwork for jobs.

– Follow all hazardous materials handling guidelines as described by crew lead

– Complete installation of containment and decontamination chambers for moderate to high risk work activities.

– Remove asbestos containing materials / mould impacted areas from ceilings, walls, floors, beams, boilers, and other structures using appropriate methods.

– Arrive on time, clean shaven, with CSA steel-toed footwear to various sites around the lower mainland.

Qualifications and Skills

– Valid BC Driver’s License

– High school graduate or equivalent

– First Aid level 1 certified is an asset.

– The ability to read, write, speak and understand English to work as a team member.

– General knowledge of construction and use of hand tools is an asset.

– Proficiency with containment set-up and use of standard abatement equipment is an asset.

– A working knowledge of asbestos and mould abatement principles is an asset.


Various certificates (AWP, OFA 1, Asbestos Awareness, Transport Endorsement).

– Site supervision training.

Framers, Renovation Carpenter, and Finishing Carpenters

We are a busy construction company in the disaster restoration industry and we are looking for framers, renovation carpenter, and finish carpenters, with minimum 3 years experience. We are very busy. Our carpenters do the following:

  1. Install baseboards and casings.
  2. Install doors, bathroom hardware
  3. Install panelling and sub floors
  4. Install/repair kitchen cabinets
  5. Framing

This is what we do 90% of the time. We are looking for someone, long term, who can do these things very well, and efficiently, meaning in a timely manner.

If you can do any or all of these and if you can communicate very well and manage your time wisely, are responsible, use email, and have reliable transportation that can carry your tools and possibly materials around, then we have an opening for you.

We provide an extended health program after 3 months. Company vehicles available. Subs are welcome too.

Although our office is in Port Coquitlam, our job sites are all over the lower mainland.
